mine is different same motor same vehicle same throttle body but has a hose on the right where that silver cap on the right side

Where in the h e double hockey sticks is IAC located on this throttle body? I'm guessing under the cover on the left side but don't want to tear it apart and messy up my day in a big way.

Those mechanics who use impa t wrench 1,000lbs torque on a simple drain plug need to be fired, rediculous igiots!! That's why I prefe do myself now, I know it will be done right! Oil change guy isn't even a true mechanic, he knows nearly nothing about cars, just another paycheck is all.

Nice video. Just got a 2010 WK Laredo, with a high mileage 5.7 and QT II (the T handle switch in middle). Haven't checked the underbody yet, probably rusted to shit anyways. Looking to put some crazy wheels and lifts on it, and scrap it when I'm done. I no longer keep vehicles around after losing my beloved first car, now I treat every single vehicle I own like garbage. Just curious, the small O-ring at the top of the filter, did you replace that? Was it in the new oil filter box?

When you mentioned what to do if you've been bringing it to the dealer... I absolutely had that issue. The folks who used to do my oil change went out of business. And for some got awful reason, they'd just ugga-dugga that bolt back on like torque specs didnt exist.

I noticed on your back wheels that you have pretty thick wheel spacers and that could be one of your rubbing problems its not stock or factory set up I own a Stock WJ V8 and my new 245/70R17's KO2's don't rub but I would love to put a 4in lift short or long arm but since its Quadra drive I would have to replace the front drive shaft possibly even if I went with a .budget 2" or 2 1/2', I want height was the ol saying say's " It's a Jeep Thang" LOL 🤭

I'm wondering about how to reprogram those. I understand they require that with a new unit placement. I have a cable controlled unit and am wondering if that applies if I'm just removing, cleaning, and reseating my original unit.

I do not yet have a boxster but this helps a lot, I plan on getting one and I want to completely understand what I'm getting into. thanks!

Great video, covered all the points "except" how to reset the oil timer in the vehicle. Not to worry since there are tons of how to videos available.

I noticed that you didn't change the gasket for the throttle body. Wouldn't it make sense to do that? In case there's something wrong with the old one. It's not hard to do and the new throttle body should come with a new one.

i have 2013 with deluxe interior. i had to go into the display, select 100% then select reset in the display and hold the button till it gets to 100% or whatever you select. use button on steering wheel to do this, but not same as book.

I know this video is old but worth a shot. Currently trying to replace mine. I actually have a bolt that holds my coil packs in place instead of a nut. I can get the bolt loose, and pop the coil out, but can’t remove it completely because the other end of the bolt is still secured in the manifold. Please don’t tell me there are nuts on the other side of these..

You could also spray down the lock knob shaft and let it trickle down while working the knob up and down

Hi! Me and my boyfriend tried to change the oil in my car today but we didn't find the drain plug, I don't know what we did wrong! So my Jeep is a Cherokee 2015 Limited 3.2L and I found the cap that says "Oil filter - except 3.2L engine" (or something similar to that. We pulled that cap out and it was very confusing in there. There was a very rusted bolt but we don't know if that was the right one. I wish we could post a picture here. Can someone help me with this issue? I really want to learn and I bought everything already. Thanks in advance!
